All vehicles stopping within the Resort during the declared snow season must have a valid permit UNLESS:
1. Entry and exit is between 3pm and midnight on the same day
2. Maximum 30 minute drive through anytime (NO STOPPING) from either entry point.
Day or multiday permits are no longer issued as printed permits and do not need to be displayed on your vehicle.
Payment into the Alpine Easy Access system is your valid permit for entry into the Mt Hotham Alpine Resort.
This permit is issued in accordance with the Alpine Resorts (Management) Regulations 2009.
The Mt Hotham Alpine Resort Management Board (including all servants and agents) will not be liable for any loss or damage caused to any vehicle or to anything in the vehicle except where it was caused by its (or it's servants and agents) negligence.
All road and traffic signs should be observed at all times including during the hours of darkness and inclement weather conditions.
No vehicle should be left in any position to cause an obstruction.
The permit holder must promptly obey and observe all directions of an authorised officer.
The permit holder must comply with the Alpine Resorts (Management) Act 1997, Road Safety Act, Road Rules Victoria and all related Regulations.
Alpine Resorts (Management) Act 1997 57(1)(na) provides for the removal (by means of lifting and carrying, or towing) of vehicles who cause an obstruction or who have not made payment of all fees.
The use of a vehicle resort entry permit shall not be used to provide commercial gain to the vehicle owner or permit holder.
Failure to adhere to the conditions of Vehicle Resort Entry Permit Conditions may result in cancellation of permit.
The permit purchased includes GST where applicable.
The permit is non refundable and non transferable.
It is a legal requirement that all vehicles must carry diamond pattern snow chains at all times during the declared snow season, and fit them where and when directed.
